La Manufacture de Chocolat Alain Ducasse
The Lyre Opera, an anniversary chocolate created by the Manufacture de Chocolat Alain Ducasse and the Opéra National de Paris, celebrates the 150th anniversary of the Palais Garnier.
Built in 1862, the Palais Garnier, the masterpiece of the young architect Charles Garnier, was inaugurated in 1875. Crowned by Apollo's lyre, the opera house quickly became an icon of Paris, attracting visitors as much for the quality of its performances as for its fascinating architecture.
That's why the Manufacture de Chocolat chose the symbol of the lyre, found in every corner of the monument, to celebrate its anniversary with the Opéra National de Paris: a delicious hazelnut-vanilla praline with feuilletine for extra crunch, coated in the Manufacture de Chocolat's famous signature blend.
Discover La Lyre de l'Opéra at the Manufacture (40 rue de la Roquette, 75011 Paris) and at the Comptoir Opéra (1 rue Auber, 75009 Paris), as well as on the Manufacture de Chocolat Alain Ducasse website.
