Jonas Kaufmann must unfortunately withdraw from the first three performances of Tosca due to a violent coughing attack which makes it necessary for him to temporarily refrain from singing. The irritation was found very quickly and therefore the convalescence is expected to be very rapid. He looks forward to coming to Paris as soon as possible.

The role of Mario Cavaradossi will be interpreted by Vittorio Grigolo for the first performance on May 16, 2019 and Marcelo Puente on May 19 and May 22, 2019.
