As part of the Cultural Olympiad supported by Paris 2024, the Place de la Bastille was transformed into an open-air stage, hosting a dance class with 200 amateur dancers and a number of company dancers from 4.30pm, as well as the relay of the Olympic Flame by stars Dorothée Gilbert and Hugo Marchand.
32 swans from Nureyev's ballet “Swan Lake” also joined in the event before the evening performance at the Opéra Bastille.
The Paris Opera is proud to have taken part in this event, which celebrates the importance of living together! Well done to all!
