On June 18, 2016 from 7 to 9 pm, the Paris Opera's Ballet Academy joins forces with the the creative laboratory of the Palais de Tokyo, the Pavillon Neuflize OBC, for "La Rumeur des naufrages", a unique artistic event immersing the audience in the dreaming depths of the Palais Garnier.

This unique event has been conceived as an exchange between the visual artists, dancers and choreographers of the two institutions. In the public spaces of the Palais Garnier, visitors discover an amazing itinerant performance interweaving video, sound and body movements. Using visual and audio archives from the National Audiovisual Institute (INA), the exhibits weave stories, translate dreams and obsessions and celebrate the imaginary world of the ocean of which the Palais Garnier with its underground lake.
