Zoran Todorovich Tenor

Biography

Born in Belgrade, Zoran Todorovich performed on the greatest international stages (Royal Opera House, Covent Garden, Staatsoper and Deutsche Oper in Berlin, Staatsoper in Vienna, Bayerische Staatsoper in Munich, the Dutch National Opera in Amsterdam, La Monnaie in Brussels, Paris Opera, Semperoper in Dresden, the San Francisco and Los Angeles Operas) as well as in many festivals, in Bregenz, Macerata, Taormina and Savonlinna. 

In season 2016/17, he made his stage debut in the title-role in Otello at the Deutsche Oper am Rhein in Düsseldorf, where he then sang Calaf (Turandot). He also performed the lead parts in Otello in Bogota and in Lohengrin at the Vlaamse Opera and performed recitals in Spain, Germany and Japan. In season 2015/16 he made his debut at the Colón Theatre in Buenos Aires as Florestan (Fidelio), sang Calaf at the Deutsche Oper am Rhein in Düsseldorf and made a tour in Japan as Pollione (Norma). 

Other highlights include Lancelot in King Arthur at the Paris Opera, Dick Johnson in La fanciulla del West at the Opernhaus in Zurich and the Deutsche Oper in Berlin, Don José (Carmen) at the Deutsche Oper am Rhein in Düsseldorf, Ruggero (La Rondine) at the Tel Aviv Opera and Don Alvaro (La Forza del destino) in Tokyo. 

He also sang Radamès (Aïda) at the Opéra de Marseille, Florestan in Liège, Otello in concert version in Antwerp, Guido Bardi (Eine florentinische Tragödie) at the Teatro Regio in Turin, Canio (Pagliacci) in Moscow and Düsseldorf, Don Alvaro at the Gran Teatre del Liceu in Barcelona and the Paris Opera, Turiddu (Cavalleria rusticana) and Canio at the Opernhaus in Zurich, Dick Johnson at the Opéra de Monte-Carlo and the Teatro Massimo in Palermo, and the title-roles in Andrea Chénier at the Grand Théâtre de Genève, Parsifal in Luxembourg and at the Vlaamse Opera, Lohengrin at the Teatro Massimo in Palermo, Jean (Hérodiade) at the Vlaamse Opera.
