Born in 1960 in Boulogne-Billancourt, Thierry Dreyfus is a French visual artist. In 1985, he opened his first event production agency in Paris, specializing in the production of fashion shows. In 2000, he created his first luminous work for the Caisse des Dépôts et Consignations. In 2002, Pierre Bergé entrusted him with the direction of Yves Saint Laurent's 40th anniversary fashion show. His installation Ondes visibles was created for the reopening of the Grand Palais in 2005, following a call for tenders by the French Ministry of Culture.
Thierry Dreyfus continues to create artistic light installations. He also ventured into the field of design. In 2003, he launched Éléments de lumière, a collection of limited-edition lamps. In October 2011, he collaborated with David Lynch on the Silencio club in Paris, creating its light universe.
