Member of the Chœurs de l'Opéra national de Paris
Pranvera Lehnert Ciko studied violin and voice in her native Tirana, Albania. At the age of 18 she moved to Paris and joined the class of Peggy Bouveret at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de Paris, where she was awarded first prize in 1999. She sang in Menotti's Le Téléphone (1997) in Toulouse under the direction of Marc Bleuze and in a concert version of Don Pasquale (1998) at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de Paris. Between 1998 and 1999, she toured with L'Opéra Éclaté in Manon and Les Noces de Figaro.
She was also invited twice to the Festival de Saint-Céré, notably for a recital of Schubert lieder. Concert appearances include Pergolesi's Stabat Mater with the Orchestre des Archets de Paris in Sainte-Chapelle and Schubert's Mass in G major in Béziers. She has been a member of the Paris Opera Chorus since 1999. She regularly participates in chamber music recitals at the Studio and Amphithéâtre de l'Opéra Bastille with a very varied repertoire (Brahms, Schubert, Mendelssohn, Rossini, Donizetti or Viennese operettas).
