Philibert Perrine entered the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de Paris in 2011 in the classes of Jacques Tys, David Walter and Frédéric Tardy. He has won numerous international competitions: first prize at the B. H. Crusell International Oboe Competition, third prize and special prize at the Sony Foundation International Competition, third prize and special prize at the Muri International Oboe Competition, etc. He has performed as a soloist with orchestras such as the Prague Chamber Orchestra and the Gunma Symphony Orchestra.
As a chamber musician he participates in numerous festivals (Festival d'Aix-en-Provence, Yuri Bashmet Festival...) and concerts, especially with the Ensemble Ouranos, an award-winning wind quintet with which he has recorded three discs. He has been invited to play with the Orchestre de Paris, the Ensemble Intercontemporain, the London Symphony Orchestra and the Orchestre Philharmonique de Radio France. He was named Révélation classique de l'Adami 2016 and also teaches at the Conservatoire de Rueil-Malmaison. Philibert Perrine joined the Orchestre de l'Opéra national de Paris as principal oboe in 2015 and was also principal oboe of the Orchestre de l'Opéra national de Lyon between 2022 and 2023.
