Marta Gardolińska is currently Music Director of the Opéra national de Lorraine and Principal Guest Conductor of the Barcelona Symphony Orchestra. In 2018, she was Young Associate Conductor of the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra. She was awarded a Dudamel Fellowship for the 2019-2020 season, and was invited to assist Gustavo Dudamel with the Los Angeles Philharmonic in their Grammy Award-winning live recording of Charles Ives' Symphony No. 4 (Deutsche Grammophon). She then returned to Los Angeles to make her debut with the orchestra at the Hollywood Bowl. Last season she made her debuts with the BBC Scottish Symphony and the hr-Sinfonieorchester. She conducted the Orquesta Sinfónica de Tenerife and performed Haydn's The Creation with the Barcelona Symphony Orchestra.
She has made debuts with the London Symphony Orchestra, the Swedish Radio Symphony Orchestra, the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra, the Orchestre national du Capitole de Toulouse, the Orchestre de Chambre de Paris, the Royal Scottish National Orchestra, the Polish National Radio Symphony Orchestra, and the Scottish Chamber Orchestra. In the opera world, Marta Gardolińska has conducted Zemlinsky's George the Dreamer, Paderewski's Manru and La Traviata at the Opéra national de Lorraine, Messager's Fortunio in Nancy and Carmen at the Opéra national du Rhin. In the 2024-2025 season, she makes her debuts with the Rundfunk-Sinfonieorchester Berlin, the Toronto Symphony Orchestra, the Minnesota Orchestra and conducts the Stavanger Symphony Orchestra, the RAI Orchestra Turin and the Orchestre Hallé. She also conducts Eugène Onéguine at the Opéra national de Lorraine.
