After studying with Frédéric Chatoux at the Conservatoire à Rayonnement Régional de Paris, Iris Daverio joined the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de Lyon in 2019, where she earned a bachelor’s and master’s degree under Julien Beaudiment, Emmanuelle Réville, and Gilles Cottin.
She trained as an orchestral musician with various French national orchestras and joined the Gustav Mahler Jugendorchester as principal flute for two seasons.
Iris Daverio was appointed principal flute of the Paris Opera Orchestra in January 2023. In parallel to her position at the Paris Opera, she pursues a career as a soloist and chamber musician in France and internationally.
Committed to creating opportunities for the younger generation, Iris Daverio is involved in the creation of festivals and academies to highlight new talents and offer them a place on stage. Through these projects, she aims to help foster a new dynamic and provide greater visibility for the classical musicians of tomorrow.
Her first album, "D’un matin de printemps," will be released in 2026 by Oktav Records.
