Aurore Cuvelier Viola

Aurore Cuvelier began playing the violin at the age of six in the Oise region of France. She continued her training with Jacques Bonvallet at the Conservatoire à rayonnement régional de Créteil, where she obtained her Diplôme d'études musicales in 2020. A year later, she decided to continue her musical training by taking up the viola.

She joined the class of Michel Michalakakos and then Arnaud Thorette at the Conservatoire à rayonnement régional de Boulogne-Billancourt. She also took part in masterclasses with Garth Knox, Juan-Miguel Hernandez, Mathieu Herzog and others. She has also perfected her chamber music skills with the Quatuor Agate, Agnès Vestermann and François Salque.

Aurore Cuvelier is a prizewinner at the Concours national des jeunes violtistes 2022, receiving a special prize awarded by Charles-Edouard Levillain. Since September 2023, she has been studying at the Conservatoire national supérieur de musique de danse de Paris in Françoise Gnéri's class.

She joins the Académie de l'Opéra National de Paris in September 2024.
