Anusha Emrith Scénographe

Biography

A company contemporary dancer for 15 years, Anusha Emrith performs for companies including Sylvain Groud, 7273, Inouïe - Thierry Balasse, Shonen, Appel d'Air, Carna, CCN de Roubaix and La Nébuleuse de Septembre. She also danced at the Opéra de Rouen and the Opéra de Paris in opera productions. She then became a landscape designer. She approaches the construction of space with a “scenographic” eye, considering the play of balance between materials, textures and the visual surprises offered by plants.

Drawing and graphic/plastic art being self-taught, it's quite natural that she responds to the desire to reconcile all these spaces of expression, to put art at the service of natural spaces, and plants at the service of art. Since 2021, Anusha has been blending performing arts, plants and graphic and plastic installations. She works on plant installations for the Musée départemental Albert Kahn. She is also a landscape artist in residence at the Fabrique Numérique et Artistique (FAN) in Rosny-Sous-Bois, and as an illustrator she is taking part in the 6th edition of the Studio19 project at the Philharmonie de Paris.

Anusha is a scenographer and visual artist for a “culture and health” project run by the Théâtre Sénart, scène nationale, with the aim of building a monumental work of art with the help of residents from the Fondation Perce-Neige and the CEF de Combs-la-ville. She is also a set designer for the Nébuleuse de Septembre company. Anusha has been working for the Académie Lyrique de l'Opéra de Paris since 2022, accompanying the “chef d'œuvre” project, and this year as set designer for Dis moi... as part of Dix Mois d'École et d'Opéra.
