American, Guatemalan, and Austrian-born soprano Andrea Carroll has appeared as Zerlina (Don Giovanni) at the Metropolitan Opera in New York, Adina (L'Élixir d'amour) at the Vienna State Opera and the Norwegian Opera, Pamina (The Magic Flute) at Houston Grand Opera and Dallas Opera, Leïla (Les Pêcheurs de perles) at Houston Grand Opera, Musetta (La Bohème) at San Diego Opera, Mélisande (Pelléas et Mélisande) and Adèle (Le Comte Ory) at Garsington Opera, and Micaëla (Carmen) with the Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra. Last season, she made her debut as Musetta at London's Royal Opera House and was invited back to sing Norina (Don Pasquale) at the Vienna State Opera and La Scala in Milan, as well as Nannetta (Falstaff) at Houston's Grand Opera.
She made her concert debuts with the Orchestre National de Lille, the Ravinia Festival and the Chicago Symphony Orchestra as Ilia (Idoménée) under James Conlon. She also returned to San Diego Opera for a recital with tenor Joshua Guerrero. In the 2024-2025 season, she returns to La Scala in Milan as Woglinde (Rheingold and Twilight of the Gods), makes her debuts at the Bavarian State Opera in Munich and the San Francisco Opera as Musetta, at the Semperoper in Dresden as Gretel (Hänsel und Gretel), and with the Minnesota Orchestra and the PKF-Prague Philharmonia.
