A violinist by training, Alice Gregorio studied singing with Mireille Alcantara and Armande Olivier. At the same time, she devoted herself to the study of languages and literature, and explored the poetic world of melody and lieder in masterclasses with François Leroux, Graham Johnson, Philipp Moll and Regina Werner. Fascinated by early music, she joined Opera Fuoco's opera workshop. She has appeared as Aglatida (Zanaïda) at the Cité de la Musique in Paris, as well as Didon (Didon et Énée) and Orphée (Orphée et Eurydice) at the Festival Nuits d'Été. A member of Les Arts Florissants, she performs on the greatest stages of Europe, Asia and North America under the direction of William Christie and Paul Agnew.
At the Opéra de Rouen, she is Hänsel (Hänsel et Gretel), Kate Pinkerton (Madame Butterfly), the Page and a Lady (Lohengrin). At the Festival d'Aix-en-Provence, she is the Seconda Donna (The Marriage of Figaro), as well as Cherubin and the Second Lady (The Magic Flute) at the Festival Nuits d'Été, Mercédès (Carmen) on tour in France and the Benelux countries, Stéphano (Roméo et Juliette) and Rosette (Manon) at the Festival Lyrique en Marmandais.
She also works with ensemble Le Balcon (Stockhausen's Licht at the Philharmonie de Paris with the Festival d'Automne à Paris) and composers Fernando Fiszbein (role of Alma in Avenida de los Incas 3518) and Nicolas Frize (Elle s'écoule for 3 singers, organ and bass guitar ; J'entends tout for instruments, voice and sound objects), as well as choreographers John Neumeier (Mahler's 3rd Symphony at the Opéra national de Paris) and Stéphane Elizabé (De l'autre côté at the Amphithéâtre Bastille). Finally, she conceived and created ZYKLUS, a show of danced lieder, based on lieder by Berg and Schumann.
