Synopsis
In collaboration with the Palazzetto Bru Zane - French Romantic Music Centre, the artists of the Academy devote an entire evening of recitals to French women composers. Songs and piano pieces by well-known female composers, Pauline Viardot, Cécile Chaminade, Lili and Nadia Boulanger, as well as more mysterious names such as Rita Strohl, Mel Bonis and Marie Jaell, will be performed, thus broadening the repertoire of those who were long left out of music history textbooks. This partnership will be an opportunity to work on the specificity of French singing and will result in two concerts performed in Paris and Venice.
