This Saturday, December 4, author Pascale Maret and illustrator Alexandra Huard will sign their new illustrated book The Nutcracker (as part of the partnership between the Nathan publishing house and the Paris Opera) from 12:30 to 2:30 pm at the book and gift shop of the Palais Garnier.

The perfect outing to get ready for Christmas and find original and inspiring gifts.

The Nathan and Paris Opera’s partnership

Since 2015, the Paris Opera has been associated to the Nathan publishing house to imagine children and teens’ books collection inspired by the world of the Opera. From dance to music, from the ‘petits rats’ to conductors, including costumes and decors, many themes are visited in the 6 published collections. For example, our series 20, allée de la danse tells the daily life of the Paris Opera Ballet School’s students; Danser jusqu’aux Etoiles follows young dancers of the Ballet; and Le Petit Chat de l’Opéra tells the adventures of Tutu the kitty and Strap the puppy in the backstage of the Palais Garnier. The collections are all available in the Paris Opera’s gift shops, online shop and in our book shop.
