IN SEPTEMBER, LIVE AN IMMERSIVE SOUND EXPERIENCE INSIDE THE PALAIS GARNIER

10 July 2023RESULTS OF THE BALLET’S RECRUITMENT COMPETITIONS 2023 1 September 2023PARIS OPERA BALLET TOUR IN AIX-EN-PROVENCE

Throughout September, the Paris Opera is welcoming you for “A few Steps from the World” at the Palais Garnier, a light and sound immersive experience designed with Tamanoir Immersive Studio. The Institution is always committed to exploring innovative processes in the arts and technology, thus allowing you to discover Opera through a different perspective.

For “A few steps from the World”, each participant is equipped with a headset and will be guided for 40 minutes through the installation set in the Exhibitions Rotonde of the Opera’s Library-Museum.

Led by a voice, bathed in a luminous atmosphere evolving to the rhythm of music and spatialized sounds, the spectators are invited to travel to a secret and magic place of the Opera where speech becomes singing and movement is dance.

With this experience, created with Tamanoir Immersive Studio as part of the CNC's 15-25 project, the Paris Opera takes further its commitment to innovation and the digital world, while always inviting a younger audience to visit cultural venues.

The Palais Garnier visitors are invited to live this unique experience, included in their visit ticket, from 6 to 30 September. The Opera is opening time 6 slots per day, each covering a group of 6 to 10 people, only upon registration
