“Fous de danse” in Rennes with the dancers of the Paris Opera Ballet
In conjunction with the event “Fous de danse” which takes place on may 15, 2016 in Rennes, home to the Centre Chorégraphique National de Bretagne, several cultural activities are planned that will offer the public a chance to explore the realms of a body in motion and its infinite possibilities.

On May 15, 2016 from noon until midnight, the Esplanade Charles-de-Gaulle in Rennes will become an ephemeral theatre for a dancing community open to everyone. The 2nd annual edition of this ambitious event will welcome the dancers of the Paris Opera Ballet between 2 and 4 pm for a sojourn into the realms of choreography during which a comprehensive overview of 20th century dance will be presented in close proximity to the public.
As a counterpoint to this event, on May 12, 2016 at 7 pm, the Gaumont Cinema in Rennes is screening free of charge all the films from the Paris Opera’s 3e Scène that relate to dance: discover legendary Disney animator Glen Keane’s latest creation for the Opera, or the illustrated alphabet primer O comme Opéra or Alex Prager ‘s choreographic tale La grande sortie…
