To mark its anniversary season, the Paris Opera is inviting illustrators to offer their own personal vision of a work in the form of a poster. Lisa Zordan has chosen Giuseppe Verdi's "La Traviata", inspired by Alexandre Dumas fils's work "La Dame aux camélias". Her brush portrays Violetta as a sweet, melancholy and crepuscular young woman. The palette of colours and the intimate link with the flower, which collects the heroine's tears, recall the illustrator's sensitivity for Japanese art.
