In September 2009, with his brothers David and Alexandre Castro-Balbi, he formed the Trio Suyana which was awarded a place at the Queen Elizabeth Musical Chapel to study with the Artemis Quartet. As a soloist, he has performed at the Salle Pleyel, the Hôtel des Invalides, the National Archives, the Palais de la Musique et des Congrès in Strasbourg, at the Arradon Festival, at the Abbey in Stavelot in Belgium and at the Izumi Hall in Osaka, Japan. He has also taken part in the radio programme Gérération Jeunes Interprètes on France Musique. He has been invited to participate as an accompanist in numerous summer schools including the Académie de Villecroze et Flaine, working alongside Franz Helmerson, Miklos Perenyi, Gary Hoffman and Peter Bruns.

He was awarded a diploma for chamber music by the Paris Conservatoire

He studied accompanying with Yann Ollivo at the Paris Conservatoire

He continued his studies as a pianist with Rena Shereshevskaya

He joined the Atelier Lyrique of the Paris Opera.
