Philippe Albaric worked as a stage electrician at the Palais Garnier from 1985 to 1989, before being appointed head of the lighting team at the Opéra Bastille. In 1992, he was André Diot's assistant for the tour of Mzensk's Lady Macbeth at La Scala in Milan. In October 1992, he became head of lighting production at Opéra Bastille.
In 2000, he adapted the lighting for La Bayadère for the Lowry, when the Paris Opera Ballet toured Manchester. Since 2012, Philippe Albaric has been lighting director at the Amphithéâtre Bastille, where he has taken part in numerous creations. A lighting trainer at the CFPTS, he collaborated on tours of the “Dix mois d'école et d'opéra” program from 2014 to 2018. He collaborated on the operetta Là-haut directed by Pascal Neyron at the Athénée Théâtre Louis-Jouvet in 2022.
The same year, he collaborated on the recital Nocturne, vidéo en-chantée (Denis Guéguin) with the Académie de l'Opéra national de Paris. In 2024, in the Cévennes, he collaborated on the Défilé de mode en musique with works by Brune.
