Each candidate must submit a curriculum vitae and a video of themselves playing the piano:

• a mazurka ;
• a petits sauts exercise (6x8) ;
• a grands sauts exercise ;
• Mandatory work: Tchaikovsky - Pas de deux, male variation, choreography by George Balanchine
  [Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, Swan Lake, Act III, Pas-de-deux - Variation I (Kalmus or Belwin Mills Edition - Appendix)].
  
  

The competition consists as follows:

1^st eliminatory round: Ballet class
Only candidates selected by the jury at the end of the first round will be admitted to the second round.

2^nd round: mandatory works from the Paris Opera repertoire
It will be published on the Paris Opera website one month before the competition date.
